Broken pipe and too much coverage on this one. Sometimes it's not necessary to cover as much ground or water for as long as you think. A variety of factors determine how much one needs to water one's lawn. In this case, too much coverage and a rather shady backyard only leads to a soggy backyard and clumpy grass clippings and tire ruts from the maintenance guy's lawnmower. Not to mention a larger water bill!
